Happy Fall! Happy New Moon in Scorpio!
If you’re like me, Autumn one of the best times of the year
because the weather is perfect. The
leaves change colors showing off their brilliance before the final curtain
call. It’s as if they are saying, “You will
take in all of this beauty! You will
appreciate all that I add to your life.
You will see me before I go away into my next phase. You will adore me!” The acorns are now falling to the ground to
re-seed the earth for new trees to grow.
Yes, it can seem like a time of death, but it’s the opportunity to
renewal to happen. It’s the cycle coming
to an end so the new can begin.
The last step before the closing cycle is how I’m seeing
this New Moon. The energy is one of the
number 9. It’s representative of the
final stage of gestational development before the baby is ready to be
born. This is the time of being close to
the finish line, but not actually there and ready to cross. It’s the moment when you need to hydrate and
ensure you are ready to complete the final lap.
Not just limp across but enabling yourself to cross in style like you
are in a Soul Train line.
In the tarot, Scorpio is represented by the Death Card. If you know a Scorpio personally, you can see
how that fits. When a person dies, their
body doesn’t just end or lie in state without action happening. As they die, there is a release. Whatever you consumed that was being held on
to, is no longer bottled up, so it is naturally flushed out. The breath you were holding, can now exhale. The old thoughts cease to exist. Then the body starts preparing for the next
phase, to become what the Earth needs, and becomes one with the Earth, one with
next life cycle.
So this Moon is saying rest externally. Take that energy you so fully give to others
and put some into your reserve tanks.
Because you are going through a spiritual process, a death like cycle,
this is the time to pull back so you will be ready to push forward. Set the intention to do things specifically
geared towards your interests and growth.
Plan to take a few yoga classes.
Get a book on how to create homemade soaps. Look into healing techniques. Anything that’s going to bring you peace and
foster elevation in a creative way, do that.
Get that massage. Have that spa
day. If you are exerting energy, do so
in a way that doesn’t cause you fatigue.
For instance, creating candles brings me life, not drains me of it. And that is how I am approaching this moon’s
energy; repairing those lesions in the energetic muscles from over
exertion. I’m determined to close out
that last lap in this 2019 cycle with Brick House playing in the background as
I strut across the finish line.
Because I’m out of town, I’m keeping things very
simple:
1.
Road Opener - I found a set of 4 orange pumpkin
scented candles which I sprinkled gold glitter on the top. I am calling on obstacles to be removed,
blocks to be flushed away, so I can receive the harvest that has been promised
to me.
2.
Spiritual Closeness – Yesterday I also spotted a
silver candle, that I sprinkled silver glitter over as well. This is continuing my crown chakra work.
3.
Protection -
I brought some black tealight candles with me to protect my work.
4.
Angels – Per usual, I have a white candle to
just call in the presence of my angels.
It’s burning right now, like a “bat signal” to the spiritual realm.
Happy New Moon. Also
prepare now for Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio on the 31st!
