Goodbye 2018!

The holidays were wonderful in NC.  The family time was much needed.  We had a family healing ceremony to kick off the celebrations.  Then, the crazy "superbug" my mom brought home from the hospital kicked all of our immune systems and behinds.  But after some mending, I made it home in once piece with Little by my side.  Mom and I have a new relationship and all is well.

Now on to the new...





Happy New Year!!

New Year's Eve was filled with coughing, bill paying and intention setting.  For 2019, I didn't make a list of things I want to happen.  It seemed to limiting.  Because I'm human, the mind may not be able to fully comprehend what blessing are to come my way.  I can't begin to fathom the full bloom of seeds I've set, so why make a 3D type of resolution.  So instead I just said goodbye to 2018 by way of a message sent by Jess of Behati Life.  I wrote down all of the blessings and all of the challenges.  Funny thing is, after writing all of it down, there were more blessings than challenges.  Each challenge was one to my way of thinking.  It was to my way of action.  Each one was a way to course correct.  That was the final and true lesson.   After writing them all down, I burned them in a pot to for a final release.  It was freeing.







Now on to the intention.  Thank God for Houss Freya!!  Some people really hold their recipes close to the vest, but Daysi posted a wonderful brew:




With each herb, spice and fruit, I placed my thoughts and energy into the pot.  For all of us, I pray for our destinies to be fulfilled, our souls to be filled and our dreams to be realize.  I invoke our angels, guides and ancestors to intercede on our behalf, guide us through and protect us with the light of love.






Yesterday and today, the house smells glorious.  My friend Joy said I need to put a towel over my head to breathe it all in so my coughing can stop.  HAHAHA! 



Anyway keeping this post short to say Happiest of New Year to all.  Also look at the cool shots I took this morning while on my walk.  Yeah cabin fever ran hot, so I had to get out.  Coughing be damned..

I've always tried to be one with with purpose, however the follow through can have ebbs and flows.  I'll go into a project or a task with vigor; then someone or something will throw me off track, and that project will linger...and linger...and linger.  Lots of 3/4ths of things hanging around, waiting for the 1/4th to come in and make it complete. Dear Daysi, There was a time in 2018 when things seemed to be completely out of order in multiple aspects of my life.  Love, money, self, work and inspiration fell completely out of balance; chaos is the word that best describes all of my every day experiences back then.  My life was the equivalent of a radio placed on scan to find a station, but none fit what you are seeking. There was a day in September that was my lowest.  I didn't know how I was going to pay the rest of  my daughter's tuition.  At work we were fighting daily about a project.  My clothes stopped fitting again. We weren't talking to each other within the foundation.  My heart was broken by who I thought was the love of my life.  I was beyond over it and at the point of hitting a self destruct button.  Even Sims didn't give me pleasure no matter how many I killed off to put in my Simetary. Daydreamin' When I'm Sleep

I've always had the gift of dreams. Really I was born with the ability to call things to me in my waking life, but have been too fearful of that gift.  So I end up jinxing myself and calling trash instead of treasure most times.  But dreams of things to come or things unfolding in the present are my constant barometers.  When I was younger, I'd dream of aliens taking over the world, the need to find safety.  So many end of the world dreams for such an immature mind.  Each time, I'd find a place to hide, but the aliens would never just leave.  From there I'd dream about death.  My father's death to be more specific.  In fact, for a year I would randomly dream he'd die in a car accident.  After each dream, someone would die in that manner, a school mate, my sister and finally my father.  Imagine my fear of dreams after that.  But a gift is a gift.  Whether sleeping or awake, the visions will come.
